Most people understand that the job of a police officer is most of the time dangers. Almost every day, we see news stories about an police somewhere who is hurt or killed. We know there are bad people out there who are trying to hurt other people and in the process of trying to save bystanders police are the ones who get harmed. However, if police did not come in an aggressive way they wouldn’t get hurt. So this means police are hurting himself and other people by having guns         Police can lose their job for using too much force while trying to detain a person. An ex-police officer had to give up his job because he lied in a police report.  The victim quotes “‘Honestly I was glad the officer got fired so he won’t be able to do this to anyone else. I’m just happy to get him off the streets,’ Hubbard told reporters at a news conference on Tuesday.””There are, of course, police who are fired for misdeed but officers who decide that they can overuse their power should not be given a job as a police officer. Yet all over the U.S., police are given there jobs back, often worried to protect police labor than  the public’s safety. Cops who are unqualified by their own bosses are given there jobs back. Their colleagues get the message that police are not getting permanently fired.”Since 2006, the nation’s largest police departments have fired at least 1,881 officers for misconduct that betrayed the public’s trust, from unjustified shooting. But The Washington Post has found that departments have been forced to rehire more than 450 officers after they were fired. If the police did not have guns they would not have unlawfully kill a person. However back then the police would not know what punishments they would get or if they would get away with what they did. They would be more cautious of what they did. Now their first instinct for the police to a 911 call is that someone should die today because of this call.
